Technophobes?

BBC three is launching a new programme called Technophobes. This programme follows 5 people who are afraid of technology.

AUDIENCE:
The program would most likely appeal to teenages and mainly the older audiences that can relate to being afraid of technology themselves. The reason for this is because teenagers use technology as everyday life. As for gender this would appeal to all types of genders as this phobia may occur to anyone and would target middle class as this channel may appeal to them more.


INSTITUTION:
This channels airs after 19.00. The programme Technophobes starts later and that would mean that children would not watch it and it will appeal to an older target audience. It would also tend to be an observational documentary type as it would be a programme based on observing the lives of these 5 people


MEDIA FORMS:
There is no voice over in this programme. There is also no presenter of this programme which means the people in this programme will have to present themselves. They talk about different subjects and one would be over coming their phobia.


REPRESENTATION:
In this programme i would have to say there is a negative representation is this is because of how people are towards technology. it is now the 21st Century and people should adapt to the lifestyle of the 21st Century.
